My frame was small and I was 100 lbs soaking wet when I came to live in Toronto. After marriage and during my first pregnancy, I had gained almost 40 lbs. I was 5’3”, so that sort of weight gain was very noticeable. It did a number on my self-esteem, and even though I participated in high impact sports (tennis, weights and running), it didn’t seem to help. Working 12 hour days didn’t help either.
I started Wildfit at the outset of the COVID pandemic in Feb 2020. I figured that if I actually paid for the program, I’d stick with it. At best, I was only expecting to lose 7-10 lbs and educate myself on better nutrition. Wow! Enrolling in the WildFit Challenge was one of the best decisions of my life! I’m now 116 lbs and feel amazing! I’ve even released the weight that I had pre-pregnancy! Everyone who’s seen me is amazed at how much weight I’ve lost. Not only that, but I sleep better, my skin is great, and I’m much lighter on my feet, not to mention losing 4” off my waist alone, which has made wearing pretty outfits something I look forward to now! I’ve learned so much about food and how it affects our bodies. I will never see food the same way again. It’s also taught me how fasting the right way can be good for our bodies. It all made so much sense.
My confidence has returned and my family and friends still compliment me... especially at a time when everyone else is putting on weight, due to these uncertain times.
Another huge milestone for me was that I was able to quit smoking after 30 years. Although I wasn’t able to do it during the program, I used Eric’s techniques and advice I learned during the challenge to finally kick the habit 3 months after I completed the program. I have it admit that the program wasn’t easy at all for the most part, but I stuck with it....and today, I feel empowered, blessed, so much stronger physically and spiritually, and am extremely grateful. Thank you Mind Valley and thank you Eric Edmeades for changing my life! Most of all, I thank God for exposing me to Mind Valley, WildFit and for helping me to finish off what I started.
