60 Pound Weight Loss & Improved Health

Before Wildfit I was 6'2" and 244.2 pounds (29.6% body fat). I had several severe health problems/hospitalizations from mold poisoning and obviously the excess weight. I couldn't even walk 10 minutes due to health problems. I ate "healthy versions" of food with a lot of sugar and carbohydrates. The cravings were out of control.
Most of the Wildfit program was easy, but there were some challenges with cravings. Those challenges were alleviated mostly by the tools provided in the course. I stuck to the program as best I could. What was and is very important for me is that the food I prepare taste great so that I enjoy it and that my main dishes I prepare last 3-7 days to not have to cook food every single day. The suggested receipes were very helpful.
By Week 6, I had only lost 5-1/2 pounds, but it was just a start. By the end of the 13-week program, I had lost nearly 30 pounds! Down to 214.4 pounds. This weight loss was without strenuous exercise -- only moderate walking. I had been as low as 205 pounds on and off since 2001, so I didn't want to write a review yet.
After 7 months following the lifestyle, I am down to 184.0 pounds -- more than a 60-pound weight loss! My body fat percentage (confirmed by a Dexa scan) is 19% (down from > 29%) and visceral fat percentage is 1.2%. During the process there were many weeks where the weight would plateau. I would just stay patient and eventually it started going down again without overdoing the exercise. I do feel more energetic, can hike for several miles in the mountains and have run a few times recently.
My initial goal was to get to 185 pounds. I suspect that I will my natural, athletic weight will end up being in the 160 to 175 pounds and my body fat percentage will end up around 10% or so, but now I'm not so much focused on weight or body fat as I am getting healthier, stronger and more flexible. I am hoping I can update this review in another 7 months.
