"I more than tripled my reading speed"

Even though I loved reading a long time ago, I considered myself a slow reader for the best part of my life, to the point where I had kind of given up on reading - for pleasure as well as for work. This was frustrating me greatly and I decided to do something about it as the rows of dusty unread books on my shelves were growing.
I started the quest with a 'words per minute' count of 209. It quickly became clear to me that my belief that I was a slow reader was based on what I was taught in primary school, and I loved Jim saying that there is no such thing as a slow reader - there are only untrained readers.
The quest is amazing - challenging at times - and Jim is a great teacher. I ended up reading 746 words per minute with amazing comprehension, so I more than tripled my reading speed. I have definitely found back my love for reading and am dusting off the books one by one, which gives just the most amazing feeling of satisfaction. Thank you, Jim!
