Before this Quest I looked at reading as a chore and task that would exhaust me. When I recently accepted a role as an adjunct college professor, I knew that the only way I could bring my A game was by reading as much as possible - and I knew I would have to spend time reading my students' assignments. What I didn't want to do, as I am still a professional artist in New York, was use all my time reading!
After taking this Quest I feel like I can read far more efficiently. My W.P.M. started at 150 and has gotten up to 600. On average, I live at around 450 W.P.M. so far!
I also happen to be a life-long fan of Tony Robbins' - as after a huge business set back, one of his empowerment series helped to dig me out of depression 16 years ago; he got me back to exercising and ended my smoking. I find Jim Kwik to be equally impactful and life-changing as a teacher and speaker.
My top 3 takeaways or insights during/after finishing this Quest are:
The brain and what we know about it is ever-evolving.
The brain is a muscle and must be exercised.
Readers are leaders.
