I started with little formal education as a child. I completed high school and later went onto college to Study Activation/Gerontology after I was married and had two children. All that while learning English as a second language, caring for my family and working part-time as a waitress. It was not easy, and it took me a lot of time to learn anything. Regardless, I graduated with honors in college. I am very proud of my achievements, but know I realized it would have been a lot easier, have I known How to Learn. for sure I would have gone to seek higher education. I pride myself on having an inquisitive mind and the drive for self-growth and development.
The quest has broadened my intellectual capacity and has given me the confidence to pursue some of my( half) forgotten dreams. For now, I will have to keep practicing what I have learned, read more and schedule time for the things I like to do.
