"My goal for the program is to overcome the my lack of interest to learn a certain subject"

I want to be able to improve my memory and retention to better serve my patient and gain more knowledge to help the people around me. My goal for the program is to overcome the my lack of interest to learn a certain subject, geography, which I should know by heart. I want to know the map of the world and throw out the notion that somethings are just not my thing. I want my children to know that anything is possible, just a matter of how much effort you want to put towards in achieving your goals.
