"I have had fun with the first memory lesson in the Superbrain course"

I have only just started Mindvalley. I am a school teacher but am also studying at online University doing a Zoology degree. I love the study and find it interesting. I work hard and I do well. However, I find that I cannot retain much of the information that I learn (well not for any length of time). I also cannot always recall the information that I need for exams.. I find this very frustrating (and makes studying the subjects purposeless). I am also one of those people that have difficulty remembering names - my own class of students I remember (although there are usually one or two that I continually confuse), but other students, that I have less contact with - I struggle to recall their names. I have had fun with the first memory lesson in the Superbrain course.
