"I started the Silva Quest and things start to change"

Before I started this program, I had just moved to Virginia from New Jersey (during the week the quarantine officially kicked in no less). I had also lost my job, not due to COVID19, but because my company decided at the very last minute that I was no longer going to be able to work remotely in my new home and need to stay in NJ in order for me to keep my job. Meanwhile, I had a new apt lease in VA, I had given notice and was completely packed in preparation for leaving my old apt, and the reason I was moving still existed - my Mom is struggling with a few things as she ages, and needs one of us close by to help out as needed. So...I was basically forced to resign my job with no other job prospects and off I went to Virginia. BUT...even before discovering Mindvalley's Silva Ultramind Quest, I knew that everything happens for a reason. Silva could not have come along at a better time though to help me in this journey. Silva helped me realize a few things - I had been miserable working at my job - had been there 18 years with a boss who had made my life increasingly difficult (he's passive aggressive with a massive ego). I would have never quit under normal circumstances since I needed the money and didn't feel that I had it in me to begin anything new at this point in my life (I'm 57 and a widow with a grown daughter who has bipolar depression). I'm just TIRED. So, I quit, having faith that there was something better out there for me. And, not only did I want to move to Virginia to be closer to my Mom, but I've missed it ever since I went to college here, and still have several friends in the area. Had I not signed the lease when I did (while I was still employed, not knowing what was to come), I never would have been able to live in this amazing apartment, with a beautiful view and pretty much everything I could ask for amenity wise at an affordable price. So, here I am, in this great apartment, but with no job and very little money to sustain me. Job hunting during a quarantine, can be....challenging. Especially when every job that pops up meeting my qualifications just depresses me. Then I start the Silva Quest and things start to change. Each day's lessons bring me more positivity, and I start to see things evolve. One thing that happened may seem horrible on the surface, but turned out to be a blessing in disguise for both me and my daughter. She had a terrible car accident, flipping her car (totaling it), which could have easily killed her since the car landed on the driver's side with her head inches from the pavement. However, when she was taken to the hospital, she discovered she had no serious injuries, just a few bumps and bruises. Although the car was totaled, it relieved me of the car loan and insurance I had been straining to afford on her behalf. The insurance money not only paid off my loan, but also put a few thousand dollars in my pocket thanks for the policy I had on the car. And most importantly, it helped to teach my daughter a new respect for me and a realization of the actions she has been taking without much thought. Plus, she wasn't even issued a ticket for what amounted to reckless driving because the trooper believed that what she experienced was punishment enough. I've also experienced other forms of unexpected money coming to me or relieving me from expense this past month that have helped get me by financially as I've been trying to figure out my life's purpose. Another major life changer came by way of an old friend. In fact, he was the one who guided me to Mindvalley in the first place since he had liked your FaceBook page a while back, so his name kept coming up in association with it every time Mindvalley showed up in my feed. I essentially put my trust in his opinion, when I decided to finally take a look at what Mindvalley had to offer. About a week ago, I reached out to my friend to find out what his experiences have been with Mindvalley since I am so happy with mine so far. During our conversation, he shared with me that he is a real estate broker in addition to being musician (which was the only thing I knew he did for a living). In fact, he loved being in real estate and thought it would be a perfect fit for me too. Now, before all of this, I would have considered myself an introvert, with periodic bursts of being an extravert if that makes any sense. In other words, real estate would NEVER have come up on my radar since it's in sales and basically requires more people skills than I give myself credit for. But, it had me intrigued, so much so that I looked into what it would take to get my real estate license the very next day. After all, my dream (a little too late to really make anything of it) is to become an architect and I've always loved interior design. Reading about a real estate career and all it has to offer got me REALLY excited about the possibilities. Plus, my friend offered to be my mentor and help me with the training. So, long story short, I'm enrolled in the course, and have been making significant progress this past week. My friend, true to his word, has been checking in on me to see how it's going and offering advice. I've pretty much stopped looking at the job openings that depressed me, and am putting my heart and head into this new endeavor that may lead to a wonderful career. It will also allow me some time to work on a book I finally started (after years of toying with the idea in my mind). The future is bright!!! I see so many possibilities, and the magic in the everyday that I'd either taken for granted previously, or am only now experiencing as a result of Silva and Mindvalley. Today's graduation call further excited me with the introduction of the new Omvana app. I signed up immediately - after all, I just journaled yesterday that I was planning to enroll in the unlimited access to Mindvalley as soon as I had the funds to comfortably do so. This opportunity essentially fell into my lap. Thank you Vishen for giving me hope for my future as well as my daughter's. I'm regularly sharing what I'm learning and have been experiencing with my daughter, and can already see a difference in her attitude and plans for the future. I'll be forever grateful to you and your wonderful team. I have so much to work on in my life, but now I finally feel as if I can tackle ALL of it with joy and gratitude for what I am given each and every day.
