Leah's (my wife) dream was to open up her own Massage Therapy Clinic and to rent out rooms to other Registered Massage Therapists. She teamed up with a Chiropractor and the Clinic is now up and running as of July 1st 2004. She is currently renting out rooms to 2 other RMT's.
My major goal was to pass the 5th degree Martial Arts test.
On July 16th while in Japan, I passed the test! The style is Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu and the 5th-degree test or 'Godan' test involves the Grandmaster standing behind the practitioner who is sitting in meditation. The Grandmaster has a practice training sword held high above the head of the practitioner. At some point the Grandmaster decides to 'kill' the practitioner - it is the practitioner's job to 'sense' the killing intent and to avoid the strike.
I can't count how many times I did Silva and visualized myself passing the test. Then it happened in real life! I was ecstatic, and I'm still in disbelief!
