I had a whole checklist of items that I just wanted to do and I'd been here for a week by that point and my computer was sitting in my bag and I think I'd maybe taken it out once and I left here saying: "I should have brought my computer here". Now I have to spend five minutes to walk to my apartment, get my computer, and start going through all the things that I needed to do.
And I felt that that energy, clarity and focus kind of sustained themselves pretty much the whole day. I will say that I did take the recommended dose of four pills and so at some point after a couple of hours, I felt that my heart was beating a little faster, like I just wanted to get so much done.
So for me, personally, I could have probably done a smaller dose to see if I would still have the same effect, but the effect was sustained throughout the day and I got a lot done that day. Without even realizing that it was because of the Focus.
So I woke up that morning with a checklist of things that I kind of had to do at some point in the next week or so and I said that I would probably do it over the weekend.
The time difference with Boston, since I'm from the US, is like Boston's five hours behind. And so after the session was at 10:30 in the morning, It was 5:30 a.m. in Boston and the number of texts that I sent to clients and to my assistant with a list of things that they have to start working on right away was pretty intense.
I had contracts to draft that I'd sort of been putting off for a while. I literally got my computer and I got them out in like 20 minutes. I had four contracts. They all got sent out and then they were all signed and everything by the end of the day, which was phenomenal. I think it was multiple things that were off my to-do list for that day.
I definitely see myself using Focus consistently. Maybe not every day, but certainly on those days when I need that extra boost. An edge to get things done in a short period of time. I can see myself using it a lot, actually. I definitely see myself combining a couple of the different states to see optimal performance. I hadn't actually thought about combining Focus with Zen, but that sounds like a great idea. Because I think it would take like the, not the jittes, because it didn't cause jitters, it was just like the desire, it was like a really strong desire to get as much done as possible in a short period of time.
And I think having that Zen will probably balance it out a little bit with the focus. so I'm looking forward to trying that combination out.
