I was quite depressed because of the industry downturn in Aerospace (my field), and this had an affect on family life. The goal was to become always positive in the moment.
The course has given me a structured way of analyzing my deeper self and has brought me clarity of purpose. I have noticed a real shift in responding to events in my life...for the good:)
Another key is that I never slept very well. I practice the rule of no food three hours before bed, I bought special ray glasses that help avoid screen light, and have installed automated electric blinds that bring total darkness in the room. I sleep on average 7 hrs a night compared to 5. The bonus here is less stress in the day, I am a lot calmer.
