As a doctor, I wanted to focus on the coaching aspect since it's a different toolset than coming up with a treatment plan for a patient.
I left truly appreciating the journey that coaching, unlike medical provider, mentor or therapist, brings out of the client what is already embedded in them all along and also challenging mindsets and limiting beliefs rather than advising. I'm grateful that I can now appreciate the differences and can now use a softer hat that aligns more with my core values as I build my coaching practice.
