Before my Holobody journey, I just knew that I am very interested in the body-mind connection, how it affects our health and well-being, and really our whole life. I am already a Body and Mind Trainer and Bob Proctor Consultant and have extensively studied the mind, self-image and the factors that create our identity.
However, Holobody really goes deep on how your body fits into all of this. It brilliantly elaborates on how there really is a feedback loop between your body and mind and how they are both in constant communication with each other and need to be aligned.
Holobody takes you on a journey to understand your body better, reconnect and fall back in love with your own body, no matter what age or state you are in. The program really works for everyone and you can go as deep and hard with it as you like. It undoubtedly has a ripple effect on so many areas in your life, and it had on my life as well.
Thanks to Holobody I really understand my life journey much better now. The program gave me a deep understanding and respect for myself, my own body, and the path I have taken. It helped me realize how far I have come in life (which I had taken for granted) and that the results I achieved careerwise and healthwise, were mainly because I have taken good care of my body for most of my life. During the years, when I didn't, my body actually told me quite quickly that I am diverting from the path I am supposed to take, and consequently, I went through some difficult years healthwise.
As a former professional athlete, I innately knew how important it is to cherish this one vessel we have that takes us through life, our body. Later on in my corporate career, I, unfortunately, forgot about all these important lessons from earlier on and I fell completely out of balance. I was still keeping active and eating healthy but my stress levels went through the roof and it started to affect everything, my sleep, my health, my mood, my relationship, and my career. Until I decided enough is enough. I decided to put my health first again and I decided to quit my corporate career by the end of the year and that's also when I came across Holobody.
This program was the perfect reset for me. It helped me put the foundational practices - that I have known and practiced earlier on in my life but dropped - back in place. It also gave me plenty of tools for further acceleration, focus, and growth. For example, I picked up strength training again, something I was staying away from for years after I had finished my professional sports career.
But to be honest, discipline, persistence, acceleration, and growth have never been my problem. I think it is more the awareness between pushing yourself and pushing yourself too much. It really is a fine line for me. For this reason, the more sustainable Holobody cruising mode is perfect for the stage of life I am in right now, with two little kids that are keeping me busy while I am building up my own coaching business, among (too) many other things :)
I love, love, love being able to consciously switch between the three different modes - baseline, racing, and cruising - depending on my needs, personal resources, and availability. This is rather genius, thank you Holobody!!!
