Before the course, I worked as Head of Wellbeing in a school. Part of that role meant listening to young people and colleagues. As a result, 80% of the staff went through a coaching program. I had used coaching in my lessons, but also in my other role as a positive psychologist looking at transformations in work and in people. I always felt unconfident working with headteachers and business leads as I thought that they knew more than me!!
Through the coaching process, I got coached a lot! I forgot how powerful it can be even in 20 minutes. There seemed a 'what goes on tour stays on tour' sense of integrity and everyone listened and grew in their expertise to coach another.
In the consulting section, I was staggered in the way that information was imparted. Easy to understand and easy to implement. Again, this gets into your nervous system as you work on scenarios in the coaching pods.
Now I work with business leaders and heads of schools as well as entrepreneurs and even one month after finishing the course, feel that I can add value to any company.
