"I've carried away a lot of things that are already making me more successful in my job"

I had to communicate my value proposition to a client this morning, justifying why their proposed fee was supposedly increasing vs. the same type of project previously completed. I hate these conversations, but all I could hear was Ajit in my head saying, "The conversation doesn't have to be weird unless you make it weird." That one statement allowed me to confidently and successfully take my stand and make my proposal as a successful consultant. My posture was different. My tone of voice was different. I've carried away a lot of things that are already making me more successful in my job, but that one statement will help me exponentially in the years to come.
