When I was an undergraduate student at University of Maryland, Baltimore County, the most charismatic person I had ever known at that time was Dr. Freeman A. Hrabowski III, the President of UMBC. He is this super charismatic and happy person. Every time I saw him walking around campus, there were sparkles following him. I wanted to have what he has and coming from a super awkward kid who always had to fill in the conversations with questions about the weather, that was a stiff mountain to climb.
I was guided to take this quest without really understanding why. As I watched the first lesson, my hands went over my mouth as I uttered, “Oh! My! God!” This quest is the answer to the prayers that I had when I was an undergraduate student!
As I was taking Magnetic Charisma, a lot of brules that I had in how to be charismatic started to melt away. Vanessa van Edwards has gently lead me toward the road of being a charismatic person in the easiest way possible. With the OCEAN test, not only do I get to know myself better, I also begin to understand people around me. This understanding has brought healings into my life as I now know how to interact better with others so we can all have win-win situations.
The most exciting thing that happened to me while I was taking this quest is by the end of the quest, Vishen ran the first Mindvalley Challenge: Make 2022 The Best Year of Your Life. On the last day of this event, I was a panelist and had an opportunity to practice what I have learned from Magnetic Charisma in front of over 2,000 people. I got to practice making eye contact and using my hands to emphasize the important points in my story.
