"What an eye opener"

I have been a physical therapist for 29 years. Most of that time has been in long term care settings with disabled and elderly people who need short-term rehabilitation or are living in a facility for long term care. I used to feel that it was my "thing," my calling. I was helping people. But more recently with all the changes and frustrations that have come about with Covid and the health care system in general in my country, I have been feeling burned-out.
I started looking into personal development as a way to find what else I could do to help people that would also make me feel fulfilled and of course still have a descent income. I was looking into different careers, maybe starting some sort of business, training courses...all things that are out of the normal realm of my fairly stable career. I started working on my mindset which was a game changer to begin with. This new outlook allowed me to take a chance on the Lifebook course -with the full intention of getting my $500 back. What an eye opener! I realized that I was trying to improve my life but was basically only focusing on 2 or 3 areas at best. And with no structure to follow, no idea that categories interact and strengthen each other, I was basically floating along with no real direction.
Even though I've only finished the first part of the Lifebook program, I know this system is just the infrastructure I've needed to improve my life in a holistic way. I can't just choose to ignore some of the categories and expect to be my best self. I am looking forward to learning the strategies to make my life vision a reality.

Before I joined the programme I came across an ad on Facebook. It was Vishen talking about how life can become overwhelming. He even mentioned how he felt during Covid-19. It pulled on my heart and I'd seen LifeBook back in June but I just didn't have the funds to go ahead with it. I pray...
