I outlined my 1- and 5-year plans; listed my goals for travel, professional development, self-improvement, home improvement, and finances; and revisited/updated them quarterly. While I knocked off concrete goals, I noticed that I had recurring self-improvement goals that were not becoming a reality.
What was unique and clearly effective about the Butchers' Lifebook is that these goals (Vision) are tied to your foundational beliefs (Premise) and Purpose, and you Strategize on getting yourself from where you are now to where you want to be. The chapters cover the 12 dimensions of our lives -- it all made so much sense and it was so helpful being guided by Jon's narrative, Jon/Missy/Alex's Q&A, and examples from the Lifebook community. It felt truly supportive despite being tired of online learning during a pandemic! I am so glad I did this program and look forward to implementing my Lifebook daily and updating it. It's also a huge benefit that we can review any of the videos and materials, and retake the assessment in the future. I hope to interact with the Lifebook community in the years to come.
