"Success with these micro-commitments has begun to shift how I think about myself"

When I started Lifebook I was struggling to move my life forward. It's like I was spinning plates and any little hiccup or interruption would bring them crashing down and I would be starting over, or worse, giving up and moving to a new plan. During the Lifebook process, I realized that I needed to become a person who was committed to change, not hoping for change. Inspired by one of Jon's stories I began doing an 80-second workout, 60seconds of donkey kicks and two ten-second yoga poses.
Each week I added a tiny commitment such as drink a liter of water on rising, making my bed, taking my vitamins, walking barefoot on the ground for 5 minutes. Success with these micro-commitments has begun to shift how I think about myself and my ability to follow through. I am becoming a person committed to building a better life. After completing the Lifebook program I feel like I finally have a compass and a map to my future. I feel confident that LifeBook is a structure that I can grow in without leaving any parts of myself behind and without reinventing the wheel every time I hit a bump.
