I was on the path to slipping into life long mediocrity. I married young and went to school for a profession that I ended up not being a great fit for. I had fleeting thoughts of a better future, but had no idea where to start.
I have lived a lot of life in my short amount of years and have seen a lot of traumatizing things. 6 months ago, the fact that I hadn’t ended up like most girls with my upbringing was enough for me. I had a degree, no children or addictions and a husband that truly loved me and treated me well. That was enough.
