I didn’t have an easy childhood. I was brought up in an authoritative environment and physical and verbal abuse was common in my family, and as a result I developed a sense of worthlessness and fear for life. I started the path of personal and spiritual growth almost 20 years ago and fortunately I have made significant improvements in many aspects. But still I felt stuck and I had this sense that I wasn’t living my life at its best, that I was simply getting along reacting to life as it came but not really leading my way.
Doing the Lifebook program, listening to Jon and Missy’s experience and going through each one of the twelve categories has been quite a journey. The wisdom that is contained in these lessons is priceless. Having a clear intention on what I want my life to be is the most powerful aspect I have achieved. Without a compass, any direction is just as good and you will end up in unexpected and probably unwanted places.
I also have a very important takeaway from this quest, which is taking responsibility for my life. Now I know that there are no magic formulas, no one-size-fits-all. You must work hard for the things you want, for your dreams and for your life vision, and listen to your own voice above all the others. It is all up to me and only me. That means great freedom and great responsibility.
I strongly recommend the Lifebook process for everyone, because even if you feel your life is working in the right direction there are many important areas in our life that we may take for granted. And if you’re stuck, then you really need to do some serious work. Jon and Missy are incredible guides that help you face your real picture and help you design the dream life you want to reach.
