"I am now not afraid of making mistakes, of criticism"

At 75 I was the eldest member following the online course called Lifebook.   I would like to share my story.

It began with severe depression in the summer of 2018.   I delved deep within myself searching for the meaning and purpose of my life.

A light bulb switched inside me.   I decided to devote the year 2019 to the ‘My Happiness Project’.   I was going to do this on my own but I came across Jon and Missy, watched the masterclass, and immediately enrolled myself.   I felt that the universe had sent these people to help me with my project.   I was so touched by Jon’s sincerity and his total conviction that one is master and maker of one’s own life.   One can achieve absolutely anything if you want it badly enough and are prepared to make a commitment.   He presented us with a tried and tested out a plan for designing one’s life.   A light bulb that lit inside me has now become fire enabling me on my path to leading an extraordinary life.

The course had 12 segments, each one addressing a different aspect of life.   Each section was inspiring and motivating and compelled me to action.   My physical health has improved dramatically and my goal in this category is to become a yoga teacher by the time I am 80 years old.   I am already a Laughter Yoga teacher.

The section I found most helpful was on ‘Spiritual Life’.   Following Jon’s guidance has brought immense peace in my heart.   Compassion. Love and service are the principles I have tried to adopt in my life just like Jon and Missy.   They have busy lives but they have a mission to help one million people to change their lives and this has made their life happier and rewarding.   I intend to do something similar on a smaller scale.

I have a tremendous desire for creating a community,  around my village where everyone, old and young, able and disabled, feels loved, cherished, and supported.  To that end, I intend to encourage people to join LETS (Local Exchange Trading Scheme) which is a scheme to promote barter systems where one would exchange various skills.  There will also be an emphasis on the social side to bring people together.  My progress has been slow but I am determined to continue my efforts.    My guiding principle is to have the right INTENTION in all my actions and to do everything without expectation    This makes me feel completely at peace with myself.

Having worked out my vision, purpose, and strategy for my ideal life has given me so much more confidence in myself.   I am now not afraid of making mistakes, of criticism.   My social life has improved.   I am making friends more easily.

I want to end with heartfelt thanks to Jon and Missy and my blessings to them for continued success in the extraordinary work they are doing.   Thanks and blessings also to Vishen for his extraordinary vision in creating Mindvalley and changing lives through their excellent online courses for self-development.   I would sincerely like to recommend the Lifebook course to all who wish to achieve their full potential and enjoy a life of their dreams and I do this with the right INTENTION.
