"How Mindvalley Empowered Me and Transformed My Life"

How Mindvalley Empowered Me and Transformed My Life
To lay the foundation for my story, we need to go back to my birth. I was born into a French, Lutheran upper bourgeoisie family. However, my birth was the result of a presumed rape. My very recognized and well-established father, whose primary occupation was wooing women, seduced and impregnated my very naive mother, who was 25 years his junior. She concealed the pregnancy and nearly lost her life during childbirth. Unbeknownst to my grandfather, her father, my very conservative family decided to put me up for adoption. All was proceeding as planned until my grandfather discovered the truth and insisted on taking responsibility for me.
This marked the beginning of a long period of self-denial, where I tried to hide my existence and erase my right to exist and flourish as a loved and happy child. I grew up as a solitary child, constantly reminded that I should never have existed, had no right to live, and would be better off vanishing. The only person who truly loved me was my grandfather.
Early signs of deep depression began to manifest in my teens, despite excelling in my studies and showcasing various artistic talents that my family, with the exception of my grandfather, didn't appreciate. My only friends were two gypsy girls with whom I shared holidays, despite facing the disapproval of everyone but my grandfather. Through these friends, I learned about plant medicine and gained insights into energy work.
Fast forward to the death of my beloved grandfather, and I found myself in a state of emotional collapse, akin to a "mental coma" that lasted six months. My body seemed to be saying, "You cannot end your life; I am shutting down on your behalf." This marked the beginning of a long, arduous journey. Initially, it was a descent into my own personal hell, with daily tears upon waking, accompanied by the realization that I was still alive, enduring both mental and physical pain. However, one day, while listening to a lecture by the Dalai Lama, the words "whatever your soul did not resolve in this life shall be resolved in the coming one" hit me like an electrical shock.
Near my home in France, a Tibetan monastery existed, and I was received by the abbot through mutual acquaintances. I wanted to understand the deeper meaning behind that sentence. Did I comprehend it correctly? Would I need to start over in my next incarnation if I managed to cross over now? The moral pain, its physical manifestation in muscular and neural distress, and the emotional torture—did I have to endure it all over again? This realization shocked me, and from that day, I resolved to fight for my sanity.
A journey towards the light commenced that day, a challenging but incredibly interesting one. I had always been interested in personal growth, but this marked the start of a marathon where I continuously gathered knowledge, deepening my understanding of myself and my interactions with the world around me.
Around 2016, I discovered Mindvalley. I had just divorced my abusive husband, lost my childhood friend, and suddenly felt free. Specifically, I was liberated from one of my deepest fears: growing old and alone, a fear that had influenced many wrong decisions. Once I made the decision to divorce and put my financial independence on the line to be free, I truly felt liberated.
Upon joining Mindvalley, the first significant breakthrough came with a masterclass by Rev Michael Beckwith, when I was introduced to the idea that "life happens for you, not to you." Meditating and journaling on this concept, I had an epiphany: everything that had happened in my life had a purpose, leading me to this moment. I needed to become the alchemist of my life, transmuting pain into stepping stones of personal growth. I also understood the importance of forgiveness, particularly self-forgiveness, after engaging in several quests and masterclasses on the topic.
Thriving in transformation and intellectual challenges, I began sharing my newfound knowledge with everyone around me, accumulating one piece of wisdom atop another.
Fast forward to the COVID-19 lockdown. Before the pandemic, I spent a significant portion of my time outside my home country, Egypt, renovating properties and traveling extensively. However, the pandemic brought everything to a halt, including my income. Determined to keep my staff employed without salary cuts, I decided to work on my dream project, the OPA Foundation. I had always wanted to create something like it, inspired by the rich interaction I had with my grandfather, which had been beneficial for both of us. His vitality and openness to new experiences made him stand out from his peers.
As the lockdown continued, I formulated a master plan for an OPA center, combining orphans, street kids, and underprivileged elders. In parallel, I established standards of operation and outlined interactions with neighboring communities. After three months, I began sharing the idea with acquaintances and friends who pledged their support. Being part of the NGO ConnectAID, I understood the complexity of maintaining a steady flow of resources for a foundation. To ensure financial sustainability, I recognized the need to create a product that could attract Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) investments.
Drawing on the tools and techniques I learned from Vishen Lakhiani and Mindvalley, I embarked on a brainstorming process that integrated elements of the Silva Method, Be Extraordinary, the Six Phases meditation, guided meditations by Regan Hillyer, breathwork, and mindfulness techniques from Emily Fletcher. This process led to the creation of Peonia, a unique project that combined my passions for the history of arts, interior design, biohacking, and creating beautiful hospitality spaces. After nearly three years of fine-tuning, Peonia Holdings and OPA were ready to pitch to investors.
To ensure success, I delved into various business and marketing quests, social media strategies, and personal development courses, including those on abundance and financial manifestation. With the support of Mindvalley's teachings and a commitment to personal growth, I developed Peonia Holdings and OPA into what it stands for today. All of this would not have been possible without the guidance and vision of Vishen Lakhiani and Mindvalley. As I reflect on the end of 2023, my journey is a testament to the transformative power of self-discovery and continuous personal development.
Unfortunately I cannot load here the brief of Peonia Holdings .
Ao much wanted to share it with all of you , to show you that there is no limit to what we can do when we believe in ourselves. .
As Regan says : “ you can have it all “
