“From Lost to Laser-Focused: How Investing Mastery Reignited My Purpose”
Before the Investing Mastery course, I felt like I was floating—trying different things but never truly landing. I had exited a luxury business I built with my sister and mother just before COVID. While it had financial success, I couldn’t find meaning in it. Since then, I’d been experimenting—consulting, dabbling, dreaming—but nothing stuck. Nothing felt aligned.
I joined this course with the hope of designing my path to financial freedom, creating multiple income streams, and launching a business that finally felt right. But what I got was so much more.
In the very first session of the business section with Vishen, we dove into the “core purpose” and vivid vision exercises. I even volunteered to share mine—only to be met with Vishen’s honest (and unimpressed) feedback. But that moment cracked something open. It led me to complete Cameron Herold’s Vivid Vision quest, and for the first time, I didn’t just see a business—I saw a mission.
I had recently decided to launch a niche fine jewelry brand on Amazon. Initially, the motivation was simple: the market looked promising and the plan was to grow it and eventually exit. But after the vivid vision work, everything shifted. I realized I could use this business not just to sell beautiful jewelry—but to tackle a massive global issue: the destructive impact of conventional mining.
Miki Agrawal’s session was another turning point. Her unapologetic approach to solving real-world problems inspired me to dig deeper into the jewelry industry’s dark side. What I uncovered—human rights abuses, environmental devastation, political corruption—lit a fire in me. This would no longer be “just an Amazon brand.” It would become a sustainable jewelry movement—one that educates, elevates, and empowers.
There will be no exit. There’s too much important work to do.
As the business section of the Mastery continued, the vision kept expanding. Every instructor added value, but Anthony Smith’s sessions were especially impactful. He inspired me to document my journey step-by-step and build a blueprint that other purpose-driven founders can use to launch their own businesses. I'm now working with someone I met through the Mastery to turn this into a shareable tool for the entire community.
The AI tools we explored were also game-changing. I've already begun building a custom AI “employee” to automate tasks, optimize performance, and support my growth—and I’m seriously considering attending the AI Mastery next.
Now let’s go back to where the Mastery began: the real estate section.
Before this course, I thought real estate investing was all about buying low and waiting for value to rise. But Simon’s philosophy flipped that script. I now focus on income-first properties and approach every opportunity with a new lens: solve the seller’s problem while creating a win-win deal. That mindset shift alone has completely transformed the way I invest.
Jason’s spreadsheets and strategic clarity along with the online tools and data sources he introduced, helped me develop my own financial model to analyze deals and calculate offer prices. Just like the business blueprint, I look forward to refining and sharing this with the community.
And perhaps the most transformative gift of all? The people.
I’m incredibly grateful to have served as part of the Community Leaders group throughout this journey. That experience allowed me to connect more deeply with fellow participants, support others, and witness the magic of this container on an even more intimate level. It helped me form real relationships and build trust with people I might have otherwise never gotten to know. The care, guidance, and energy that Ileana and Olena brought to leading the Community Leaders program made all the difference—their exercises, leadership, and authenticity consistently inspired me to show up more fully and lead with intention.
Through this, I’ve met collaborators, accountability partners, and lifelong friends. We’re already working on projects together, sharing tools, ideas, and support—and I know these relationships will last far beyond the course.
I came into this Mastery hoping to “figure things out.”
I’m leaving with a business I believe in, a mission that lights me up, tools I didn’t even know existed, and a tribe that makes it all feel possible.
Thank you, Mindvalley, for not just teaching me how to invest—but for helping me rediscover why I’m doing it.
