Oh what a journey this has been! It has changed me profoundly. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I could wake up very early in the morning without any effort or even an alarm clock. But now, no matter how late I go to bed, I am able to wake up early and practice my daily habit of meditation and learning (and sometimes exercise too). It's amazing how when one makes a commitment and puts it out there, the universe conspires to see it realized. I'd always heard of neuroplasticity, but this is the first time I've seen evidence of it. I am proof that a person's "wiring" can be changed. All it takes is consistency, until a habit becomes second nature. To all the night owls out there, "There's a special kind of magic that can only be found in the very early hours of a new day. Being witness to the rising of the sun fills one with new hope and energy. Try the 5am club, you won't regret it." Part of me feels a bit sad now that this quest has come to an end. I will miss my daily appointments with Robin. But the journey of heroism and striving to live a legendary life will certainly continue.
