Gut Health for Better Mind, Body & Longevity

"So much useful and life changing information in the short seven days, that we can all implement"

At the start of this quest, my intention was to gather useful information to help my husband (and his side of the family) who all have significant digestive disorders as well as my youngest son who also has poor gut health (for various reasons, including antibiotics and anxiety!) However, the plethora of interesting and useful information has been an eyeopener, we ALL need to be aware of and intentionally attend to our gut health all the time!
Longevity has been one of my goals for many years and so I have looked into and experimented with nutrition, supplements and the additional elements of exercise, stress management and sleep for many years. In addition, having walked my own journey through inflammatory arthritis since I was about 36 (and I am now 50). I am super aware of what I consume and I have researched and experimented with many supplements. The correct food and supplements can have a huge positive impact on a chronic disease like arthritis!
Another word of encouragement for this quest and the information herein is that I have used the Blood Type Diet (Peter D’Adamo) with great success in terms of weight-loss, inflammation and gut health for more than 12 years. Whilst it is certainly not as comprehensive as the Viome Testing, all the foods on their lists for each blood type have been tested and fall into one of three categories: Highly Beneficial, Neutral and Avoid. When I consume only Beneficial and Neutral for my blood type O, I have almost immediate relief from arthritis symptoms and can lose weight. Naveen and Viome’s Researchers taking this much further, into the interactions with the microbiomes of our bodies, is a phenomenal up-level and upgrade of the Blood Type Diet work.
There is so much useful and life changing information in the short seven days, that we can all implement these health, wellness and longevity measures, even without doing a Viome Full Body Test. Things like: avoiding the universally unhealthy food additives, exercising and getting better sleep, like being intentional when we eat and noting which foods leave us feeling ‘off’, bloated, gassy and in pain and taking better care of our oral health.
Thank you Neveen and team for the vastness of my newfound awareness that I have gained through this quest.
