I'm a breast cancer survivor. Something you never plan for and it changes you forever. By the way, I recommend a regular mammogram.
My docs say that everything is "normal" and I should be feeling like my usual self. I don't.
After 15 months of treatment including, two surgeries, chemo treatments, radiation and a year of 'targeted therapy' infusions (in the chemo center) - all during COVID, I have to say I don't feel "normal".
The experience was a personal challenge and a life-changing event. Due to a side-effect of the chemo, I have neuropathy in my hands, which the doc says is permanent. I guess I can live with that if I have to. While I do want the neuropathy to stop, it's not really impacting major functions of my life. I'm just not feeling like my "perky" self and I am open to exploring options to "bring me back" as good or better than before.
All of this pushed me (or maybe, pulled me) toward the Energy Medicine class. I look forward to learning, exploring and practicing better health.
