"What I learned most is the importance of proper breathing, rhythmic, breathing in breath, hold time"

At the age of 64I began this program. I swim on a regular basis so holding my breath. Is of interest to me? What I learned most is the importance of proper breathing, rhythmic, breathing in breath, hold time. How it is influenced bye the soma method.
Probably the most interesting first thing I noticed is I can stand on one foot now before now. I was not able to stand up on one foot that would fall over, couldn't stop leaning, left or right. But now I can stand up on one foot and put my shoes on without hesitation.
Objective number 2 is to improve my breath hold time when swimming. I typically swim underwater The length of the pool. And I really like to swim the complete lap underwater. Getting to the edge of my ability to hold my breath when in the water Has always been that point at which I came up for another breath. So I could do a length and a half or maybe two full lengths at one time. Personal objective is to go further there.
I've incorporated. The isometric. F exercises also while holding the breath just every day, all the time. Recognizing that the breath hold is the key element to the strength. Like high altitude training
I'm getting to 10 seconds and 15 seconds. But when I started, I was just four or five seconds.
My morning breath hold time, it's gotten up to easily 20. 30 seconds, very comfortably. Sometimes I find myself up at forty seconds.
I'm still working on the last section relicing to the somati. Routines, replaying the recordings, to get more out of them.
Thank you for all you've done. Thank you for all this. I do like the idea of becoming an instructor but first I would like to get the techniques down, find it an instructor in houston, to me, it would be very interesting.
The business I have is fire gallery dot art. It's a art studio focused on art, created by fire, lots of fun and smoke.
