One year ago a took a year’s leave to travel north to the Whitsundays on my boat. Before leaving, my boat was being repaired. During this wait, things were drawn to me, a holiday to see my family 1000 kms away, another holiday on my friend’s amazing boat traveling around Airlie Beach, near the Whitsundays. It took until August until the repairs were finally complete. When the boat went back in the water, the marina staff used 2 slings instead of 4 on our boat. This caused our boat to crack, so we quickly took it back out of the water and then it was an insurance job…..Fuck!
My partner, Billy, and myself made the decision to not worry and to live by the universe. We decided to escape to our property in Nusa Lembongan, Bali to do our own retreat where we go for a SUP over a reef to go to the next bay to do some breathwork, then have a sauna and ice bath, followed by a coffee or juice then SUP back home. Anyway it is a “dream” way of living.
After a month, we decided to go travelling and flew to Singapore, and travelled north through Malaysia and Thailand, having an amazing time. We decided to buy the house next door in Nusa Lembongan so that we could have a spare bedroom for family, so we flew back to Bali to negotiate the deal with the neighbors. We stayed in Nusa Lembongan for Christmas and January as we had visitors, but we mostly continued our retreat style living. I enjoyed doing my Wim Hof method everyday and started searching for other meditations to practice.
In mid January an old friend called us to help sail his catamaran from Langkawi, Malaysia to Australia. Of course we said yes, we are yes people. So for January we flew to Vietnam to continue the Asian journey, again having an amazing time. I continued to practice breathwork and meditation along the way as well (I was also learning the language of Bahasa Indonesia through duo lingo since September too).
In my search, or maybe on Facebook, I stumbled across Mindvalley. So far I have completed the Silva Method, The 6 Phase, QuikBrain, Breathwork For Life and am also doing the Everyday Bliss and Tantra courses. I’ve really enjoyed all the courses, but Breathwork for Life really opened my mind to another dimension with so much euphoria. My life is amazing. Even in the months leading to completing the courses, I already attracted a positive energy. I look at the boat incident as a blessing, as my journey, and I’ve been so open to what the universe gives me. I have now returned from the sailing trip where I have finally got my boat back after being fixed. I live on my boat at a beautiful marina on the Gold Coast in Queensland, my health is amazing, my mind is calm, my fitness is good, I’m always learning, I’m happy, I have healthy relationships, I walk away from drama, I attract my own tribe. Good things and magic keep happening to me everyday. One day I’ll see whales, one day I’ll see dolphins, my work takes me back early on full pay one week before school holidays of 3 weeks, lucky things just keep happening to me (I have left a lot out), I also travelled to Mexico in May and conquered my fear of heights by abseiling down a cliff 220 metres. Anyway, to some up my story …….. The sun is shining, the sounds are a melody, food tastes amazing, my cooking is better, I sleep better, I feel better and my life is all around, getting better every day. I will seek out the Somadi courses and am also interested in being a coach.
Peace 🏵 Mandy
