"I’ve had lots of insights"

I’ve read a thousand and one self help books over the past 20 years. I’ve long been trying to improve myself in some way. But I would just read a book, get enthusiastic about implementing it, and then not do anything. Over and over and over. what I realised on this course is that I desperately needed a regular practice. Some accountability/regularity/consistency. That’s what has been the biggest benefit to me from Mindvalley- creating a daily time to spend on self development and meditation. In the beginning I did it at any time I could but now I aim to do it in the morning. And I prioritise it above my job as I now realise there will be no real change unless I prioritise myself, not some other company. So I’ve had lots of insights, not all new, but a good reminder of what I already knew but now with the added bonus of a regular practise and commitment to growth.
