Before this program, I felt I wanted to make a difference to the world with the science of healing that is homeopathy. And now, thanks to this program, Be Extraordinary, I feel it is my purpose to help heal the world from COVID-19. (Really bold, I know) I know of 2 remedies that I am confident will lessen the likelihood of COVID 19 should a person be at risk due to contact as well as a remedy that is indicated for the respiratory and dessiminated intravascular coagulation (DIC) symptoms. The remedy for DIC symptoms, I have not had the opportunity to trial on people, but have treated a different species with astounding results. And the beauty of homeopathy, is that it can do no harm and can be used alongside modern medicine. Often, modern medicine and homeopathy work synergestically together. While financial support/income would be helpful, (we are a single income family living mainly on my nursing wages), I am happy to gift this knowledge to the world. So, my story begins..... While I have seen homeopathy do sooooo many healing miracles, of both people and animals, I have been saddened that it has been so difficult to make it available or to be able to make a living from this skill, my knowledge and as a healer. I started my career as a nurse and most of my post grad work has been in Coronary Care, Intensive Care and Neurosurgery. I discovered homeopathy through my horse, Shylo, who at quite a young age, (17years) had become progressively lame due to arthritis of the hips. He had reached the stage where it was painful to see him even walking and I was thinking of putting him down (Euthanasia) Thankfully, a friend of a friend said "Look - Shylo doesn't need to be like that" She gave me 5 little pills to put in his water trough..... I thought "Yeah - like that's going to do anything ?? " Still, Shylo had nothing to lose - so I did put them in his tough. (Very skeptically!) Well, the very next day, Shylo was trotting and cantering around the paddock with complete freedom of movement!! I was so amazed !!! Having had watched his arthritis progressively getting worse over 18 months - to being able to move painfree!! And no placebo effect - 1: He's a horse and 2: I didn't give it to him directly, I simply put it in his drinking water!! I was gob-smacked and so impressed - I had to find out more!! I have since studied, researched and prescribed homeopathy over the ensuing 25 years. By chance (fate), I started a company for treating animals with homeopathy - results from the prescriptions were astounding, with a 95%++ efficacy. While we healed almost all animals we treated, being commercially successful was difficult. Sadly, the obstruction to homeopathy was insurmountable - a lot of history that happened in that 25 years - a book in itself - so, the quick version to the chapter that brings me to where we are today. In 2013, a large Dairy company dumped 3 million litres of buttermilk into an inadequately covered pond 500m from our home. Needless to say, it started rotting and within 6 weeks, our neighbourhood was living with a horrendous stench. Meeting after meeting was held with councils, the dairy company etc. As an ICU nurse, I argued that if the council was unable to fix the problem - that they should evacuate the residents ...... but, no. We were assured, repeatedly, that it was just a bothersome smell and would do no harm. Little did we know that we were being poisoned by low dose hydrogen sulfide and methyl mercaptan. Animals died, people died. Landowners couldn't leave - including ourselves - who would buy our land and homes? (We would not want to sell to anyone, anyway, to put others at risk as well)) We got terribly sick - months of nausea, dizzyness, burning stinging pains, shortness of breath, insomnia from the pain, headache, suicidal ideation. My horses became unrideable, the vegetables all tasted like red hot chillies - (even cucumbers and gherkins), our dog and cat died, in spite of being treated with homeopathy. (Rule No 1 - remove yourself from the poison) When my spouse's liver function and electrolytes changed like our dog's, before he died, - I decided it would be better to walk away from our home and survive. This was 12 months after the dumping of the buttermilk. We moved a thousand km's away and expected to be well within a month. Little did we know then, of the harm that long term exposure to hydrogen sulfide did to your brain, central nervous system, heart, eyes and lungs. After searching the world wide web repeatedly in the beginning of 2014 - we could not find any data on the effects of long term daily exposure to 30ppm of hydrogen sulfide - the dose we were constantly exposed to by the symptoms we had as they correlated with the symptomology. At that stage, there was no research on exposure for any length of time as no people had been left to live with what we were. In May 2015, 18 months later, I found a book that had been written by Kaye H Kilburn, MD, titled 'Brain Robber - What you don't know about rotten egg gas could KILL YOU or make you wish you were DEAD!' All the symptoms he shared from his research were what my spouse and I were still living with, even though we had left the poisonous environment. Not only were we not well, but there was no compensation for ourselves or the other affected residents. Through all of this, and since, I had treated our family, pets and horses with homeopathy for sewer gas poisoning (i.e. hydrogen sulfide poisoning). While the remedies kept us alive (others with the same symptoms have since passed away), I was living with this constant stinging burning pain. I had been reviewed by a neurologist in late 2015. An MRI and lumbar puncture showed findings consistent with a de-myelinating phenomena - however, the neurologist did not diagnose it as multiple sclerosis. Life continued to be a misery. While I knew the stinging burning pain was neuropathic, rather than another cause, sleep was so elusive - I could cope with the pain while awake and at work, but it felt like my body was wrapped in stinging nettle - sleep was sooo difficult. I started on more and more drugs for neuropathic pain. Each new drug or dose working for a week or 2, but then became in-effective again. I was so disheartened that I had not been able to fully heal myself with homeopathy. As sleep was so unobtainable, I was a walking zombie - play acting 'all was well'. I had to keep working as a nurse, my job opportunities were better than Mark's. (He went on to study and complete a law degree - although job opportunities are still slim). I am the income earner in our family - and while I have loved working in ICU, felt it was time to stop shift work. I now have a 8 - 4.30 nursing job that I love. One day, my colleague gave me a hard time for always being tired - I snapped at her (Most unlike me) that it was because of the burning stinging pain - that it was like wrapping myself up in stinging nettle!!! and that was why I couldn't sleep and was always so tired. MY 'AHA' MOMENT!! Oh my gash, of course !! - homeopathy works on the principle of like cures like - that is, a substance that is known to create the symptoms of disease, when homeopathically prepared, will heal the same symptoms of disease. I started taking homeopathically prepared stinging nettle - within 10 days the stinging pain that had made my life a misery for over 6 years, abated!! I finally could sleep!! Why hadn't I thought of this before? In Boericke, the concise homeopathic (1200 page) handbook that 's my homeopathic bible, did not rank this remedy highly - that was it! Ho Hum!! I did write a letter of apology to my colleague for being abrupt with her along with thanking her for pushing my buttons - this had helped me find the answer I needed to heal. This was just 4 months ago. My passion for the magic for homeopathy has been re-ignited.
