“A layoff headline forced me to adapt — now I’ve built a second career in AI at 45”

I enrolled in the AI Mastery program after a moment that fundamentally shifted how I viewed my career and my future.
Early last year, I woke up to a headline about Intel laying off nearly its entire marketing department—retaining only a small group of people who knew how to integrate AI into their daily work. That was a wake-up call. My business was rooted in marketing and branding, and my model was more traditional. In that moment, I realized adaptation was no longer optional. If I wanted to stay relevant, keep my business viable, and expand future opportunities, I needed to learn AI—fast.
I’m part of the generation that grew up through massive technological change in the 80s and 90s. We watched personal computers, cell phones, and handheld devices emerge, and we adapted with curiosity. But I’ve never been a “techie.” I don’t code. I’ve never considered myself a technology expert. Because of that, I was genuinely apprehensive about whether I could learn AI well enough to use it meaningfully.
This course completely changed that.
As a business owner in the creative space, I had always relied heavily on outside vendors—paying significant amounts for video production, social media content, graphic design, and other specialized services to deliver for my clients. Through AI Mastery, I learned how to do much of this work myself using AI tools, and to do it in record time. I was blown away by the efficiency gains. The time savings alone were extraordinary, and the cost savings transformed my business model.
Beyond efficiency, the course expanded what felt possible. Social media, email marketing, content creation—things that once felt stressful and overwhelming became streamlined, creative, and genuinely enjoyable. I felt empowered rather than behind.
What surprised me most was where I ended up. I never imagined that five months later I would be teaching my kids, family members, and friends about AI—or that they would come to me with questions as if I were an expert. Even more unexpectedly, I’ve taken what I learned and built a new business helping other companies embrace AI thoughtfully. I now serve as the human bridge between where people feel stuck or fearful and what’s actually possible with these tools—and I absolutely love that work.
At 45 years old, I can honestly say this program changed my life. It has opened the door to a second career path I never originally envisioned and given me confidence in a rapidly changing world.
I couldn’t recommend AI Mastery more highly. The instructors are exceptional—brilliant, generous, and deeply human. Every minute of this course was worth it. Huge thanks and gratitude to the entire AI Mastery team.

Why recommend this Quest? Because where else can you learn to be a tech superhero while building a multi-million dollar empire? It's like Hogwarts for the digital age, minus the flying broomsticks (though I'm working on an AI for that).
