"I've gone from being the person who accidentally sends "OK Google" texts to my family to someone who can actually make AI dance to our tune"

OK Y’all before this Quest, I was your typical tech-savvy grandma – you know, the one who could debug your computer but couldn't figure out why ChatGPT kept calling me "dear user." After 27 years in tech, starting at the Department of Justice in '97, I thought I'd seen it all. Boy, was I wrong!
Picture this: a 62-year-old Black woman walking into Mindvalley's AI Mastery Program, armed with decades of tech experience and enough determination to power a small city. Why did I enroll? Well, when your daughter is a talented musician (@entirelysydney), and you're running an entertainment company (Saje Alex LLC), you can't exactly ignore the AI revolution. It's like showing up to a lightsaber battle with a flip phone!
I invested my retirement coins in this program – yes, you read that right! That's approximately 1,333 cups of coffee or 200 hours of trying to explain to my friends why I'm talking to robots now. But let me tell you, it was worth every penny of my "who needs retirement anyway?" fund. Early morning Zoom calls with Vishen, Vyk, Iman, Juan, Domenic (Mr. Grateful)😉, and if course Manon et.al were mind blowing.
The Quest was like drinking from a firehose while riding a rollercoaster... blindfolded... in space. I went from "How do I turn this thing on?" to being in the top 0.01% of AI knowledge holders. (Though I'm still waiting for my "AI Whisperer" t-shirt in the mail.)
A highlight? Meeting UK instructor Manon Dave at Will.I.AM's Los Angeles F.Y.I. studio. There I was, trying to play it cool while internally screaming "OMG, OMG, OMG!" like a teenager at a concert. Who says you can't fangirl at 62?
My top three takeaways:
 1. AI isn't just skynet-in-training – it's actually pretty helpful when it's not trying to write poetry about cats
 2. You're never too old to pivot from "tech-savvy" to "AI wizard" (though my wizard hat is still on backorder)
 3. The future of music and entertainment is AI-powered, and this grandma's ready to drop some sick beats!
The biggest change? I've gone from being the person who accidentally sends "OK Google" texts to my family to someone who can actually make AI dance to our tune. My daughter no longer has to explain technology to me – now I explain it to her! (Sweet revenge!)
Why recommend this Quest? Because where else can you learn to be a tech superhero while building a multi-million dollar empire? It's like Hogwarts for the digital age, minus the flying broomsticks (though I'm working on an AI for that).
Now, about that Dubai trip... Listen, Mindvalley, you haven't lived until you've seen a 62-year-old Black woman explain AI-powered music production to Dubai business executives while dropping references to both COBOL and Cardi B. I promise to bring enough energy to power the Burj Khalifa and enough dad jokes to make even the most serious tech bros crack a smile.
Plus, think of the headlines: "Grandma Goes Global: From Department of Justice to Dubai's AI Scene!" That's the kind of story that makes the internet do a double-take.
So, what do you say, Mindvalley? Ready to add some seasoned spice to your Future Human event? Because this AI-powered grandma is ready to show Dubai how we do tech with soul! 🚀✨
 AI inspired and tweaked🤭
