I was still trying to hold everything - the repairs, the staff, the family, the grief - the way I always had: alone, and by force of will. That instinct had served me for years. It was no longer enough... I needed one place where my mind could build instead of only repair... Education, I've learned, is not a reward for stability. It is often the thing that creates stability, especially when everything around you has none.

Learning is only the beginning. The real transformation happens when you consistently practice what you've learned. Knowledge without action eventually fades. But when you apply it, test it, improve it, and keep showing up, that's when the results begin to appear.

I did not need separate identities for my businesses and my personal life. My own story, experiences, lessons, and values could become the bridge that builds trust... For the first time in almost two decades, I know exactly where to start.

I learned map speaking and discovered that I don't need PowerPoint at all. That realization alone was a massive shift for me... I lowered my voice, leaned slightly toward the camera-and watched them lean in toward their screen as well. It was the perfect moment to deliver my main point.

I have now delivered my first two keynote speeches-freely, without any PowerPoint slides or notes-and I've begun integrating storytelling much more prominently into all of my event moderations... the biggest shift for me has been moving from communicating solely on behalf of others-through my international communications agency-to developing and growing my own voice.

He has taught me the art and science of evoking powerful, emotional storytelling, which moves people to action from where they are, to where they want to be... I've taken steps toward my aspirational identity by becoming a person who's worth listening to. I feel that I have magnetized myself to becoming visible: I was invited to speak on a podcast (where the host reached out to me) and it turned out to be a great success!

I've been in the Media industry for many years, creating content, printing magazines, creating courses and building platforms, but I've always had a team doing this for me.
