My goal with using Unlimited Abundance was to shift out of my negative and "lack" mindset. I grew up poor, watched my parents struggle (and this is still continuing for them), and had an attitude that I was not entitled to happiness, wealth, or love. In the Fall I began to see a holistic therapist to open my Akashic Record as I had been very upset at work and wanted to know what my soul's purpose was.
At our second session she performed Reiki on me and I had 21 of the angriest, most aggressive and volatile days of my life. I didn't know what had hit me - but I knew things couldn't go on this way or I was going to need to leave my job, my marriage and take my kids and run.
I had thought I had dealt with the emotional baggage of my 20s but suddenly all the hurt, violence, mistrust etc. had festered...and I am a person who thought they had made a conscious choice to let go, forgive and move one. As this process was going on, I realized although I had "forgiven" in words my body was still holding that negative energy and worse I hadn't forgiven myself or TRULY believed in myself.
When I purchased UA was hoping to increase my finances, and improve my well being but knew I needed a lot of help shifting my mind set to deprogram and accept abundance and love of all things into my life. So, at the same time I bought UA I also purchased the "Love or Above" kit as a starting point to raise my vibration and take the first steps towards healing and living my soul purpose. I try have been trying to listen to the L or A meditations am and pm and squeeze a UA in there too.
Since working with Christie's audio recordings, I have experienced some interesting things…
- my husband and I are increasingly more intimate, loving and using kinder words
- my husband and I are talking and LISTENING to each other with respect
- my children are happier, calmer and seem to bounce back from setbacks easier
- my daughter is hugging and kissing me and seeking quality time (which provides positive and loving attention from Mom)
- my house is harmonious
- I am not overwhelmed by the feeling I need to meet everybody's needs, instead I set realistic goals for each day and now there just seems to be enough time to get things done
- I don't feel rushed or stressed to be the best parent, housekeeper etc.
- my house is tidier and more organized than it has been since I had kids 8 years ago
- my boss is considering my point of view and letting me demonstrate my leadership ability without micromanaging me
- staff has begun to participate in the extracurricular initiatives I have suggested to bring fun, excitement and curiosity back to our school
- I have created and rolled out a "Share the Love" campaign for staff that will run Feb. 5th-12th to encourage staff to write and leave notes of admiration in each teacher's jar to inspire their practice and raise the energy level at my school to one of hope, love and fun
- I have completed Reiki level 1 to offset my income as I will be taking a half-time leave from teaching to be with my kids in the am
- everything I am reading and doing personally, has begun to come up in casual conversations with strangers and colleagues and in professional development opportunities at work
- my life has become very synchronistic and I am LOVING it
In summary, living is easy. I see opportunities not challenges. I want to share the love with everyone.
Yes I would recommend it and have given shared your meditations with my younger brother and my best friend. The three of us grew up in small town rural Ontario and were programmed to believe that the only way to get by was to work hard, that life was unfair, that the rich get richer and that we weren't going to "make it" because we came from the wrong side of the tracks.
The truth is I already beat the odds by graduating from High School, completing University and Graduate school, but everything always seemed really challenging and the harder I worked the more obstacles there seemed to be to try to knock me off track.
Things didn't seem to go my way. But as I listened to Christie the first time, I recalled several times in my life where I did manifest exactly what I wanted and upon reflection I realized it was because I was positive, I believed in myself, I had very clear intentions of what it was I wanted and I hadn't been told (yet) that I couldn't or it wasn't for me.
So, obviously I had the power to manifest it had just gotten lost along my journey. The UA and LorA programs help you identify the attitudes and behaviours that get in your way and shift your thinking into believing anything is possible if it is your true intent. It's like I've learned to bend my reality and all I have had to do is believe in myself, honour my true feelings, keep positive and ignore other people's baggage, and invest time in taking care of myself through daily meditation.
I think the UA program is remarkable! Christie often talks in the sessions about her work with children and this is really intriguing. As a primary teacher, trained in traditional methods, Montessori methods, Environmental and Place Based Education methods and now Reiki, I am finding more and more children get "lost" between the ages of 6 -12 and despite having a varied skill set to inspire learning, they're already so programmed that "life is hard" they are unwilling to accept that just being positive makes everything easier:).
Anxiety is on the rise, achievement and academic scores are down and kids are not connected with place or nature. I wish I could sit with Christie, discuss her strategies for kids and develop a program with her to help parents and teachers teach children how to be abundant and manifest their lives so they can begin the journey of their soul's purpose early. As a Love or Above customer, these messages and meditations are so valuable in their act of "repairing the world" it is a shame we do not value spiritual education in children's development.
