“Stages of transformation”
The Habit of Ferocity

“Stages of transformation”

Stages of transformation:
1. overexcited + naive, first feelings of the HOF from day 3 to day 11. Test score = 40.
2. deep failure, continuous learning and catching up from day 12 to day 32. Test score = 49.
3. Training and learning have finally stabilized performance. Days 33 - 35. Test score = 67.
Some of my findings:
Daily physical exercises is absolutely crucial for me (running+).
“Me” — is a calculation made by the prefrontal cortex => I’m not limited to this sometimes nagging “me”.
Daily 20-minute meditation really changes cognition.
I can work 7 days a week, if I rest actively and do total resets.
I can and should ..
.. keep my word to myself. I think it’s the first time in my life, when I daily cross off all of the 6-8 tasks for the day.
.. keep my mouth shut about goals;
.. fight against “I need that attention” feeling.
Tricky television = an illusion of rest (I felt it, but I wasn’t sure).
Proper foundation opens up your true motivation and energy.
1. It took me three days in a raw to train up the “be your best when you’re at your worst” grit, because I just couldn’t get tired enough working all day long and then exercising hard. It was not hard enough because I underestimated my limits.
2. Now I feel a slight aversion to everything that is wasting my time, even to that without which I couldn’t imagine life before.
New applications of mnemonics (write to me to get free materials and join our community of fast learners):
1. plan your day = autotraining => easy to wake up, the gaps between tasks are reduced.
2. gratitude = I can see and feel ALL the things I was grateful for since discovering the gratitude practice (in a chronological order).
3. motivation = I remember ALL the situations that motivated me during the quest in a chronological order.
I think I perform 2-3 times better then before the quest. If you haven’t achieved that level of transformation, check this out:
1. I devoted 2-5 hours a day to the quest, because one of my MTP is “Make knowledge accessible and powerful”,
2. Also I have already put years to change my mindset from mixed to growth

"I approach things now with a different mindset"

Since skill can be acquired through grit and practice, one of the most significant learnings for me on this quest, means that I can ultimately experience that sense of flow in areas I feel anxiety towards. And for me, that means starting to vulnerably put myself out there.
