"I had the most incredible outcome winning the World Cup and qualifying for Tokyo 2020"

Hello everyone, I finished the quest on January 19th. One day before my Olympic qualification towards Tokyo 2020 started. I just want to share a big thank you to Steven Kotler, Vishen, and everyone involved in creating this awesome quest. I decided to take the quest in November because I was having trouble finding purpose in my sports career, I was in great physical shape but mentally I wasn’t committed to the work, I knew I wanted to qualify to Tokyo but I didn’t know why, and how could I use the achievement in case of making the goal, in order to make a positive impact in my community.

Slowly day by day, doing the work in the quest I started to gain motivation, I had the opportunity to practice grit during my training from The Habit of Ferocity Approach, I could feel how I was gaining momentum and arrived to my competition feeling stronger than ever. Still, the week of the event was intense mentally, combining the tools learned in here with my practice in meditation was able to find flow during the races, and had the most incredible outcome winning the world cup and qualifying for Tokyo 2020. The most important thing from the quest for me, is not that I was able to reach the goal, but that I found purpose in my life sportwise and personally; regardless of the outcome of the race. This liberated me from the attachment to the final result and was able to race more freely in an optimal state of mind.

Thank you, Steven (Wrote this story on our Facebook group in January, now the Olympic Games have been postponed to 2021, more time to arrive better prepared. )
