"It feels like I am finally, really, living"

Over 30 years ago, I worked happily in the fitness industry, as a Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor. My fitness journey began at the age of 14, so by the time I began working in the field, I was already 20 years into the work. Life took a turn; my marriage dissolved, and I had to support myself and 4 small children. Fitness work didn't lend itself to the demands of single motherhood, or to the cost of caring for my family. So, I side-stepped (to put it gently) into a 22-year legal career. Not long before this Quest, I realized quite starkly that I no longer loved the law; that perhaps, I never had; and that if I wanted a fulfilling life, much needed to change. I quit my job, joined a Pilates studio, and started to nurture myself. Very quickly it became clear that teaching Pilates was going to be my next step, and that is where I also began this Quest. In truth, I didn't do a lesson every day. At times I found the program frustrating. Also, studying and practicing and working out to complete my 500-hour certification program occupied much of life, and I did take a part-time job in retail to keep (the tiniest bit) of income flowing into my accounts. With all that, I kept coming back to this Quest as time permitted, as I would re-find my determination to see it through, and as faith in the process grew. My manifestation goal to achieve on or before the end of this quest was to have 2 new streams of income (without any other parameters). They quite suddenly appeared within days of each other, immediately upon my completion of the 500-hour certification to teach Pilates. Two different studios hired me, and all of a sudden, I am teaching almost every day. It doesn't feel like work. It feels like I am finally, really, living. I am 57 years old, not that that matters in any appreciable way. Other than to say, life can actually begin at any age. The life you really want, the life you will love. This Quest was beautiful.
