“The biggest breakthrough for me was realizing that I wasn’t blocked by lack but by who I was afraid to become”

Feedback, PART 2:
I provided my stellar feedback earlier today and now comes part 2. Note that vocation drop-down does not reflect all the nuances and possibilities so I will state here that yes, my 9-5 job is cancer research (clinical trials). However, my passion and lifeline is in being an end of life doula and educator. I am also a black belt martial artist (judo), and an avid Argentine Tango dancer.
Now to critical feedback....
Last tenet of being- RECEIVING. Beautifully covered particularly considerations to abundance blocks. And Vishen arrived to stories with Louis Vouton bag and Cartier watch as tokens/symbols of abundance and (proverbial) keys to unlock abundance.
This made me sad. Here are the reasons....
 1. As spiritual seekers devoted to transforming ourselves and the world, one of the first things we master is the PRESENT MOMENT. To bring a watch, time-keeper into the picture of abundance simply felt limited and lacking imagination. I personally live my life without a watch even though it's a busy life with a job, and several extra-curricular activities.
 2. Abundance is such an EXPANSIVE concept and conjures up feelings of freedom, winged mobility in every sense of the word, and I felt confined, limited, and frankly, bored, having my attention focused on a 250K containing Louis Vouton bag as well as the Cartier watch. It was only today in my walking meditation that I actively imagined the forest around my house illuminated by artist-installed lights; rock and bush gardens outside my home. Granite kitchen counters studded with rocks and gems and semi-precious stones; the most expensive Japanese knives (love to cook); indoor and outdoor gardens. You get my drift. Bring Beauty and a sense of esthetics into the concept of abundance. There is so much more to abundance than watches and bags. How about beautiful art, paintings, sculptures. How about an animal sanctuary at one's property? POssibilities are endless. I felt claustrophobic confined to the references of bags (no matter how much money it contained), and watches.
The BEST part of the RECEIVING "episode" was highlighting we may be blocking abundance by being afraid to step into the version of ourselves that would allow for an aspect of abundance to materialize.
With love and gratitude,
Aleksandra
