“I learned to release anxiety and control, trust the outcome, and stay present by choosing loving kindness, gratitude, and daily ritual instead of fear”
I am 73 and now retired and self-tutor in yoga, mindfulness and Buddhist teachings. I have done Wildfit 2yrs ago and have often listen to Vishen free sessions. Was very happy to do The 7 Sacred States challenge. I loved hearing the stories of changing mindsets. At this moment I am anxious about a relative's relationship. The sessions have reinforced the knowledge that I cannot control what is happening but I can change my mindset by loosening my mind's grip and obsession with the situation; by trusting their judgement and outcome. By listening without judgement (ha! very hard to let go of judgement) and being there for them. Focusing on sending loving kindness every time my mind goes into anxiety mode. Stay in the present and let go of old stories. Let go of attachment to outcome The importance of gratitude and devotion. Value my morning daily routines/rituals. To be more aware of paralysing fears. So glad to have listened in and looking forward to hearing the replays. Many thanks to Vishen and Team.
