The 7 Sacred States Challenge

"I feel like I’ve spent my life gathering spiritual practices like wildflowers, and I’m grateful for teachings to organize that knowledge"

Mindvalley is the path to achieving your dreams Not that I came here for that reason. It was 2020, and I saw one of my favorite teachers, Donna Eden, was teaching. I decided I’d rather spend my pandemic days with Donna, her husband, and Vishen rather than…no one. Then I discovered the other classes like Be Extraordinary, and my days started with a brief lesson that colored my whole day.

My lifelong dream was to write novels. I’d pursued it hard with only a few short stories published to show for it. Now here’s me and my 6, soon to be 7 books. Coincidence or life-changing strategies learned at MindValley?

One thing that sets MindValley apart from other online teaching is how much they give away. Every webinar teaches valuable techniques to use even if you don’t join the program. And it’s not just 90-minute sessions. Other examples are the weeks-long Facebook challenge, the weekend summits, and most recently, the 7-Day Challenge right before Christmas.

Starting each day that week with an hour of spiritual contemplation got me through the worst holiday—the worst days of any kind—of my life. The best part was how it organized spirituality into seven states, answering a decades-old question for me: How do I integrate every spiritual practice I know without their taking all day to complete. Answer: Focus on a different one every day.

I feel like I’ve spent my life gathering spiritual practices like wildflowers, and I’m grateful for teachings to organize that knowledge—also for my dream of books blossoming into reality.
