"I discovered that growth isn’t about more courses—it’s about embodiment, presence, and knowing”
7 Sacred States Challenge w/ Vishen
Before this challenge, I was already a happy, long-term Mindvalley member, starting back in 2021. I am admittedly a "class junkie"—the type who has tons of open programs left unfinished because I’m always seeking something new to learn and am interested in so many different topics.
However, by participating in this challenge, I realized that while I thought I was growing, a small part of me was actually spiritually bypassing. By being addicted to the next teacher, the next course, or the next lesson, I wasn’t fully digesting the material. I was learning without embodying the lessons. I was always seeking new information but failing to take the action steps that would lead to true alignment. By always seeking, I was never fully in a state of "knowing" or faith; if I was, it was only fleeting.
I was consumed by perfectionism, wanting to learn it all in the belief that it would make me "fully healed." But Mindvalley is like a spiritual Netflix—it can become a never-ending binge. I realized that the journey to growth is meant to be lifelong; otherwise, we wouldn’t have come to this "earth school" in the first place. By chasing an elusive destination, I wasn’t enjoying the journey. In order to become still and present, I had to release my grip on the idea of controlled healing.
The most powerful state for me was non-attachment. I realized how much time and energy I spent dwelling on the past or giving energy to old scripts. Accepting "what is" allowed me to drop into my present emotions. It gave me the power to make aligned decisions from my current energy, rather than the residual energy of the past.
Now, I understand that I will always be in a state of growth and that I am my own guru. From a place of presence, I can live in a constant practice of this "knowing." Every additional course, teacher, or methodology is now a bonus—an extra layer to my evolution rather than a destination to chase.
What an amazing tune-up to close out 2025 and begin 2026 with! Thank you! <3
