"Thank you so much, Eric for teaching me how to make my heart speak"

My father passed away a few weeks ago. Although I had prepared a typed speech, I decided after 5 minutes to go with the way of speaking that Eric Edmeades had taught us in this class. I dropped my papers, took a deep breath, and looked out into the audience of friends and loved ones assembled for his funeral. And I fell right into my heart as I described the look in his eyes when he was with my mother, the feel of his hand in my hand in mine when I was a child, and so many other small moments with him. And when this happened, all my stage fright fell away. Not a dry eye in the audience. A eulogy is a special kind of speech, in the sense that you only get one chance. I have zero regrets over what I said and conveyed to my audience; I wouldn't have changed a thing. Thank you so much, Eric for teaching me how to make my heart speak.
