Last year, I went to Niagara Falls in Canada to attend the Speaking Academy with Eric Edmes. I was used to being on stage and presenting to small groups, but I didn’t always feel comfortable. I was supported by PowerPoint and some rehearsed lines of text, but I was always very afraid that I would forget something or get out of sync with my message.
When I went to the Speaking Academy, everything changed. Eric has some really specific techniques that you can use, and he’s a master at helping you find your inner voice. That was really valuable. Eric didn’t believe I actually had a voice because I couldn’t get the words out properly. I was almost whispering and didn’t want to be seen or heard. So, we did an exercise to help me get my voice out, and Eric said, “Yeah, I knew you had a voice.” That was quite fun.
So, if you’re thinking about improving your speaking skills, joining any of Eric’s workshops would benefit you greatly. He’s a master of speaking and a master of helping you transform your speaking skills from mediocre to really good.
I’m extremely glad I went to Niagara Falls and attended the Speaking Academy. There were about 30 people there, which made for a nice group of people with different levels of speaking experience, from TV hosts to people like me. Everyone had some issues, which Eric solved.
I really, really highly recommend Eric’s workshops or trainings. If you’re in doubt, just do it. It will help you.
