The reason I enrolled in this quest was to become an authentic, convincing, and empathetic communicator.
Although I have achieved quite a bit, both personally and professionally, it has been a very hard struggle because I have always lacked self confidence, and believe that people will not get what I'm saying or am all about. I grew up and lived in unusual circumstances, and in a lot of different cultures. I don't identify much with people who have had a middle class background; however, I would like to be able to communicate with them better than I do. I have to raise money, and it is very difficult for me to speak convincingly to them in a few words, even though I believe in what I am doing. I need to reach people when talking much better than I do, in general. I feel that I'm struggling under a real disadvantage, the way I am. It's like not having all of my limbs, or something.
