The reason I enrolled in this Quest is because I just paid a business coach $6000 in full for 6 months of coaching to help me uplevel my coaching business and I realize that my voice and my message need an upgrade in order to reach my business goals. I am going all in on all levels. I've always struggled with finding and feeling the power in my voice. I'm a writer as well and have a strong writing voice, and I know I inspire others, but I want more command over my spoken voice and more confidence in using it.
Part of my mission is to literally speak power into women and young girls so that it ignites their own power and they can create lives that fully express their values, their greatness, their yearnings, and their vision. Stepping into my own power has been a long arduous painful journey (I am turning 60 this year) and I believe with all my heart that had I truly mastered the art of powerful communication and knew and trusted my voice I could have cut the time down by many degrees, and avoided so many relationship pitfalls as well as tremendous shame and insecurity. I believe I would have done less damage with my voice as well. An insecure, weak, unaligned voice is still a tool although a potentially dangerous one. It actually becomes a weapon of survival or defense, which is harmful and hurtful. A weak voice is not a benign entity. If its not speaking up truthfully and powerfully then it's shutting someone or something down, often oneself.
