Before this program, and for the last four years,I had been focusing all of my meditation practice on working through the deep grief from losing not only my first husband, 13 years ago to cardiomyopathy, but also my second husband, my soul mate, 4 years ago to Kidney cancer. Along with the focus on grief, two years ago I had to incorporate guided healing meditation and Energy work for my own personal battle with stage 3 Breast Cancer. Now 8 months cancer free, I needed to refocus my meditation efforts to my future. Not only did I lose my soul mate but with my own cancer I lost my career as a full time and very successful Women's Fitness Specialist. The door to the life I dearly loved and had worked so hard to grow was shut and new doors were waiting patiently to be opened...a new purpose was waiting to be fulfilled.
The Silva Ultramind System showed itself to me by way of a YouTube ad. The ad popped up and at first I thought that Vishne was someone else, a comedian that I'd seen before, but quickly realized that he was someone else and then noticed that the ad was 31 minutes long. Now, normally I would have "Skipped" the ad because let's face it, no one wants to view a 30 minute ad, but I could not get myself to skip it. I watched, knew it was meant to be seen and heard by me and, as soon as it ended, I clicked on it and signed up without hesitation.
To say that it changed my life, within just the first week, is an understatement.
I have complete knowing that I am healed so focusing my efforts with the class on reaching for new purpose felt like I was suddenly soaring with freedom. Writing out my 3 Most Important Questions and actively engaging in the "Growth" process literally gave me joy and I experienced magic in everything that touched my days...even moments that brought me sadness, irritation and sometimes anger became magical lessons that filled my being with great joy!!
Cancer took so much from my life but I cannot deny that the experiences that came with it's sorrow have truly made me a better human being. This last month spent working with Silva diligently, with freedom and fun, has reopened my creative mind. I have seen, clearly, the positive impact that the fun and joy of this class has brought not only to me but to my 24 year old son as well.
I am now in the process of creating new classes/workshops for a very ignored population, the pre/menopausal/post menopausal woman...understanding the body language and following through with positive action. I cannot believe how happy taking this class made me...every single exercise made me happy and I am confident that they are and will continue to be part of my every day practice.
