A very nice, young lady, 28 years in age, took one of our Silva Method courses.
She had been suffering from epilepsy for 20 years. She occasionally had seizures when walking on the street and would lose consciousness. At such times she would only come to the hospital. She suffered a great deal. During the fourth day of the course, she felt a seizure coming on again.
She quickly went to level and using the headache control technique with appropriately adapted phrasing, was able to stop the process as it was developing. It was the first time in her life that she was able to control the situation. Until then, she thought she could have no control over a seizure. When it came over her like a storm and overpowered her, she thought she had no hope of intervening. She experienced her success as a tremendous triumph. Following the course, she underwent a medical examination where they determined she no longer had epilepsy; she was given a clean bill of health! That was several years ago, and she has not had a seizure since.
