That is, until we started working case histories. The correct responses I was giving on three separate case histories, completely blew me away. Especially the last one. I just wasn't receiving any thoughts or images on this one. So, as our teacher had previously suggested, my orentologist told me to figuratively reach out and take this persons head and place it over mine. It was then that she became completely shaken and unable to continue. Our instructor had to come over and finished the session for her. What had so startled the lady, was that my head had leaned over and was resting on my shoulder. It seems that the case she had presented was a relative who had suffered a stroke, and that individual's head was pulled down to one side as mine was doing.
Sometime after taking the second class, I was reading in the tub as I often did during the winter, and would reach out with my foot to turn on the hot water in order to reheat my bath. But using my foot, I just couldn't apply enough closing torque to make the valve stop dripping. This was the old fashion type of valve with a rubber washer to make the seal. These seals periodically required replacing when they would wear out, especially the hot water. So, I was being inconvenienced by having to sit up and close the valve with my hand.
This had me thinking of my Silva training. I then went into level and visualized the rubber seal expanding and closing off the water.
The drip would completely stop in less than a minute. I had to repeat the process three or four times to convivence myself that it just wasn't a fluke. I had actually stopped the drip using the power of my mind. I made numerous attempts to make it start dripping again, but never could. I had many other positive, and often mind-blowing experiences using Silva. Sadly, over the years, I had gradually drifted away from my practice of Silva. I am now enrolled and half way through the the Silva Ultramind System, and I am anxiously looking forward to making Silva part of my life again. Silva is definitely a game-changer.
