Before the program I attracted emotionally unavailable and toxic, alcoholic men. I had gotten into a new relationship and was trying to earn his love and to be constantly entertaining. It was exhausting. With Marissa’s course, I was able to realize I was recreating my childhood with my Father and trying desperately to write a new ending…..to be recognized and matter. Yet the man I was in the relationship with was not that interested in hearing what I had to say, he was only interested in talking about himself.
Thanks to Marisa’s program I stopped the relationship after 3 months, instead of dragging it out for years. I was very nice about ending it…. I told him it wasn’t working for me and that I wished him all the love and all the happiness. I felt so good about taking care of me and ending it with no drama.
Now I am looking for a relationship that supports me. Not one that I feel I must earn love by being overly nice and constantly entertaining and being smart.
I feel so free and liberated from chains that kept me trapped trying to earn a man’s love.
